Chocito’s Chocolate Hazelnut Cream Stuffed Banana Bread
Ingredients
- Bananas, mashed - 2 ripe
- Melted butter - 1/3 cup
- Granulated sugar - 3/4 cup
- Egg - 1 large
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- All-purpose flour - 1 1/2 cups
- Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chocolate chips (optional) - 1/2 cup
- Chocito’s Chocolate Hazelnut Cream Spread - 1/2 cup
Instructions
For the Banana Bread:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, melted butter, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
5. If using chocolate chips, fold them into the batter.
6. Pour half of the banana bread batter into the greased loaf pan.
For the Chocolate Hazelnut Cream Swirl:
1. Warm the chocolate hazelnut cream spread slightly to make it easier to work with.
2. Drop spoonfuls of the chocolate hazelnut cream spread over the batter in the loaf pan.
3. Use a knife to gently swirl the chocolate hazelnut cream spread into the batter, creating a marbled effect.
4. Pour the remaining banana bread batter over the chocolate hazelnut cream swirl.
5. Use a knife to swirl the batter once again, ensuring the swirl is distributed throughout the bread.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
7. Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
