MJ’s Mustard Chicken Skewers
Ingredients
- Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into chunks - 1 pound (450g)
- MJ’s Yellow Mustard - 1/4 cup
- MJ’s Honey - 2 tablespoons
- MJ’s Extra virgin Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
- Black pepper
Instructions
1. In a bowl, whisk together the yellow mustard, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
2. Add the chicken chunks to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
4. Thread the marinated chicken chunks onto the soaked wooden skewers.
5. Grill the chicken skewers, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks. This usually takes about 8-10 minutes.
6. Brush any remaining marinade onto the chicken skewers during grilling for extra flavor.
7. Once cooked, remove the chicken skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
